When we sing for peace at St. Morten’s Church on Sunday, September 20, it is because — for the second consecutive year — we have chosen to join the soundwave of songs celebrating peace, community, and global solidarity. This initiative, organized by "Sing For Unity" from Ebeltoft, invites people worldwide to participate in observance of the UN International Day of Peace, which falls the following day. Four songs of hope for peace form the core of our program. Kristian Melchior Echwald will accompany the congregational singing and lead the church’s vocal ensemble, which will perform beautiful, peaceful choral pieces, while author and speaker Flemming Kloster Poulsen will reflect on the theme of peace. Come and join us in singing for peace, community, and global solidarity!
