Shetland Community Choir

Thank you so much for organising this. We loved the Sing for Unity music especially composed for the event. It was quite an emotional event, both for us and the audience, and we wore and gave out a lot of butterfly decorations as a symbol of peace, which our audience waved while we were singing! They also joined in the singing, and we had refreshments afterwards. It was a lovely social occasion. We didn't charge for the event, but raised £300 in donations which will go to Red Cross initiatives in Gaza and Ukraine. We hope our sound wave of singing helped us to join with others across the world with our hope for unity and peace.
