Meet the singers

On september 21st there is a Start to sing event in Antwerp, Belgium. A lot of choirs sing then in a parc (Rivierenhof) in the afternoon. At the end there is a singalong with everybody who is there, visitors and choirs. At 2o'clock PM we will sing What a wonderful world :-)

We are a small Christian community living a contemplative life in the north of New Zealand. Peace is the prayer on our lips daily. One of our beloved congregation suggested we participate in Sing for Unity. It coincides with the local bee club meeting at the monastery so we are hopeful to add some voices to our prayer for world peace. God bless you. May the Lord's grace and favour enter the hearts and minds of all for global peace now and forever. Amen.

Seeking like-minded singers in Orange County, California, USA!

Our choir will be singing in a public hall on our mainland of Shetland, and inviting the audience to sing along with some of our numbers. It will be a free event with tea/coffee and cakes, with donations collected in aid of the International Red Cross.

Singing Mamas Basel is part of the Singing Mama network of groups around the world supporting female mental health

Since it is not possible for our choir to join at 14.00 h, we decided to sing all songs for peace and unity in our Sunday's catholic mass in our church at 11.00 h that day. In that way, we can join the initiative with our choir (although at a different hour) and all people celebrating the mass can also join our singing.

The Sisters in Harmony choir is an all female choir from the North East of England, led by our wonderful leader; Juliette Tate. We are singing at Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art.

The municipality of Skanderborg counts four libraries. In each of these houses we will welcome all singers to participate in a great choir - each accompanied by a professional pianist.

We are a community arts club that hosts pop-up choir and open mic events in Cartwright, Manitoba.

Our group will sing at the lovely Mary’s Point Shorebird Interpretive Centre. Three stone monuments in three languages represent the unity of our three main cultures: Mi’kmaq, Acadian, English. As we sing, our voices will carry across the land and inter-tidal zone to the waters of the Bay of Fundy.

We were lucky to find out about this international event and are very eager to align with this initiative. It blends in perfectly at the start of the full peace-week (Belgium/Netherlands). Without giving away too much we hope for it to be the finale of a period with planned "vocal-guerrilla-style" appearances throughout the city.

Our church will be hosting an informal sing-along for our local town of Hampton, New Brunswick, Canada.

We are a community choir who enjoy singing for local events. We sometimes join larger choirs to put on concerts. For this event we have chosen t go a “Hymn Fest” with our audience joining in with some of the hymns

Hosted by a small but mighty community church that is eager to participate in unity with a global effort to promote peace.

Our Sunday service on September 21 will be called "Harvest of Peace" and will be an all musical tribute to peace, unity, community and equality, with many singalong selections.

Sing for Unity is a celebration of peace and love featuring a variety of local ensembles, from praise bands to chorus to folk ensembles to rock bands and more! It will be an afternoon of joy and community at First Church Sandwich, UCC on beautiful Cape Cod, MA!

Muzikaal weekend 'Hooggeëerd Publiek', initiatief van de cultuurraad van Brasschaat, op zaterdag 20 en zondag 21 september. Er doen 12 muziekverenigingen, bands en artiesten mee. Ons koor treedt op om zondag van 17.00 u tot 17.30 u.

We are a choir with students of the music academy of Wilrijk (a district of Antwerp) and we are going to sing at the event 'Start to sing' in Deurne.

Op de autoloze zondag zal ook het Vredescomité Kortrijk aanwezig zijn. Samen zingen wordt een hoogtepunt die namiddag. Leden van verschillende koren + draaiorgelman Koen Raeymaekers brengen ons een warm gevoel van verbondenheid. Tot zings om 14u aan de Broeltorens in Kortrijk
