Damesensemble CantaBella

Our choir CantaBella will organize a singalong together with the city council of Turnhout (B) and let a warm wave of connection flow through our city, because we believe that there are few things more unifying than singing together. In 2025 we joined Sing for Unity and around 500 singers joined us singing 'what a wonderful world'. Turnhout will Sing For Unity again in 2026.

Sing for Unity at Fregatten Jylland

More than 300 singers from local choirs will join together to lead a sing-along with between 2,000 - 3,000 participating community members.Fregatten Jylland is a retired naval frigate from the 1800s. In 1864, 12 sailors died in the Battle of Helgoland. It provides a powerful backdrop and a poignant reminder that freedom, democracy, and unity are not a given. This year, we hope to be joined by an audience of 3,000 voices.

Two people for peace

We participated last year, just because it felt right. We - my husband and I - are not 'singers' or part of any choir, just 2 people who wish for peace. Like last year, we likely will be traveling during this event, but just like last year, we will stop and sing at 2, in whatever time zone we find ourselves. Thanks for organizing such a stunning event.

Warminster Choirs Together

I’m hoping to get a group of local choirs together to perform a few songs each in a local church. Maybe a few schools too. Ending with the Wonderful World song sung together and tea and cake
