Meet the Choirs

The Herschberg Women's Choir was founded in 1986 from a group of committed women. Since then he has been under the direction of Wolfgang Fuhrmann. On the 21st September we sing at our own event, which takes place in cooperation with young students of the Kreismusikschule Südwestpfalz. The matinee takes place in the village community centre in Hettenhausen.

We are starting our new working year again on September 21 at 2 p.m., and I’m happy to carry forward the focus and intention of your movement. It aligns perfectly with the approach of our choir.

Muzikaal weekend 'Hooggeëerd Publiek', initiatief van de cultuurraad van Brasschaat, op zaterdag 20 en zondag 21 september. Er doen 12 muziekverenigingen, bands en artiesten mee. Ons koor treedt op om zondag van 17.00 u tot 17.30 u.

A group of friends, that have known each other for ages. We love to sing, move and dance together - and this day, we will meet at the beach close to Moesgaard forest and sing with the waves, the wind and the trees.

We are 4 groups who get together weekly with our leader Andrew to learn to play guitar and sing. We are opening up the group to friends, family and community on the 21st and hope to raise awareness, sing from the heart and raise the roof!!

The Breaksea Children's Choir East Kimberley is a recently formed choir that brings together children from regional and remote Aboriginal communities in the East Kimberley of Western Australia.

The Brecksville United Methodist Church Chancel Choir has a long tradition of musical excellence. Under the direction of 5th year Music Director Machala Comenschek-Slike, the choir has grown in confidence, spirit and size.

CVR's After Hours Choir has grown steadily over the years and this year boasts 30 dedicated singers

We are a community choir singing together for over 20 years. We will be joining 4 other local singing groups to bring the joy of singing to friends, family and local residents in the Dandenong Ranges area 🎶

We aim to create a huge 'pop-up-choir'. All the people pf Turnhout are invited to come at 13 hrs to surround the 'tree of peace' at Warande plein. The mayor of Turnhout will invite people to put ribbons (with their own written messages of peace) in the tree of peace.

Korby Randers and Sing for Peace are creating this celebration of peace at Rådhustorvet in Randers. Korby Randers is a community of all the choirs in Randers, around 600 singers in total. Sing for Peace have been arranging community singing for peace in Randers since 2024.

The Leek Peace Choir was formed in 2014. Our songs come mainly from the folk and protest song tradition but we do not allow ourselves to be limited by this.

We are 6 old friends around 70, who once a year goes to a cottage i Valdres Norway. It startet with cross country skiing, but now we walk . And this year we will sing too.

We are a small sing-along group based in the Upper Beaches area of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We meet up monthly at a local café to sing together for a couple of reasons: the main reason is for the sheer joy of singing. The second reason is we pool money and give to local music education initiatives. Last year we saved enough money to give 3 ukuleles to an inner city school for children with developmental disabilities. This year we hope to sing more and do more. We are proud to be a part of this year's global Sing For Unity event.

Don't have a choir. Don't sing very well, but willing to lend my voice to this movement!

We are a Chicago-based choir that primarily sings Swedish choral music associated with the Swedish American Museum in Chicago. Our group consists of 20 singers but given that this is early in our normal season, we will do a short performance with a smaller group at the museum including some of our favorite Swedish folk songs. This will be a free event open to visitors of the museum.

We will open our event with a benediction and a group song. We will then open up to allow for individual performances and close with a final group song. The event will be held at John Degnan Square in Middletown, NY
